before the interview :

* think closly if the position you apply for matches your profile and the    requirements - read the advert details!
* check your cv and letter of intent referring to formal correctness and if the    content is complete
* visit the new employer's website and find out about the company
* be careful with your appearance - make sure you look neet
* be reliable and make sure you are on time for the appointment

during the interview:

* be aware of your body language - it doesn't lie
* try to place questions and answers clear and avoid to get too far away
   from the subject
* be active and don't be afraid to ask questions - it shows your interest!
* be honest and authentic
* try to intune to your interview partner and react due to her/his pattern

after the interview :

* a "thank you for the nice interview" is an appropriate gesture
* call or write a couple of days later, if you don't get feedback
* analyse for your self what went good or bad and try to use this information at your next job interview
